1. Overview of Shanxi Normal University
Founded in 2007, Shanxi Normal University is a key university in the central and western parts of the country. Linfen City, the ancient Yao capital where the school is located, is an important birthplace of Chinese civilization. The school makes full use of and gives full play to this regional resource advantage, so that the rich local culture and teacher education, basic research, and service regional development constitute the four major features of the school.
The school implements the strategy of strengthening the school with talents and has gathered a group of high-level outstanding professionals to form a teaching team with reasonable structure and high overall quality. There are currently full-time teachers, including 3 tutors with doctorate and master's degrees, teachers with doctorates and master's degrees, and teachers with senior professional titles. It also employs hundreds of well-known experts and scholars at home and abroad as distinguished professors, part-time professors and honorary professors.
Our school is one of the general colleges and universities approved by the Ministry of Education to organize adult education. In 2016, it was approved by the Shanxi Provincial People's Government to establish the Shanxi Normal University Adult Education College. In 2006, it was renamed as Shanxi Normal University College of Continuing Education. At present, there are correspondence courses, part-time courses, self-study examinations and other schooling forms. The correspondence courses and part-time courses include undergraduate courses starting from junior college (associate to bachelor's degree) and junior college starting from high school. There are currently more than 30 majors to bachelor's degree and junior college, and there are more than 100 adult students in school. The college has correspondence stations or adult admissions examination registration consultation points in Taiyuan, Linfen, Datong, Shuozhou, Xinzhou, Yangquan, Jinzhong, Luliang, Changzhi, Jincheng, Yuncheng and other cities to facilitate adult students to study and apply for consultation nearby.

Application Requirements:
Application Requirements for Junior College to Bachelor’s Degree Candidates:
Obtain a junior college degree from a national series of higher education institutions or higher education self-study examination (on-site The original and copy of the graduation certificate must be submitted for verification when confirming).
Application requirements for second-degree candidates:
Have obtained a junior college or undergraduate degree (i.e. first degree) from a national higher education institution or higher education self-study examination (the original and copy of the graduation certificate must be submitted for verification at the time of on-site confirmation) pieces).
Those who apply for the second major at the corresponding level (that is, junior college students can only apply for the second junior college major, and undergraduate students can only apply for the second undergraduate major) do not participate in the National Adult College Entrance Examination and enroll directly.

Application requirements for junior college candidates: have a high school diploma.
