Instructions for use:
Compared with electrical tape, self-fusing silicone needs to be stretched with medium tension and half overlap Wrap around. Used when connecting terminals to their final location, if possible. Also, avoid damaging the outermost layer of the silicone tape during installation. Wrap a few more layers around the seal at the end of the package. The entire terminal is wrapped with an additional layer of tape. For vertically positioned terminals, wrap starting inches from the cable sheath and ending at the connection point. For reverse terminations, end the wrap at the cable sheath. Wrapping is moderate stretch (-stretch ratio). Do not stretch the last layer to avoid warping.
