The principle of hot melt pipe welding is that the two end faces of the pipe (piece) to be welded are pressed against a preheated hot plate for a certain period of time under a certain pressure. When the crimping height reaches the standard, the pressure is lowered to carry out the heat absorption stage. When the heat absorption time is completed, take out the heating plate and apply pressure on the two end surfaces to be welded so that the two welding surfaces are in close contact until the cooling is completed and the two end surfaces are bonded together.
Classification method of pipe fittings
Pipe fittings are divided into different types according to the construction method and purpose: electric fusion pipe fittings and hot melt pipe fittings.
.Hot-melt pipe fittings are divided according to production methods: injection molded pipe fittings and welded pipe fittings (not recommended).
.Hot-melt pipe fittings include flanges, reducers, elbows, equal-diameter tees, reducing tees, end caps, etc.
.Electro-fusion pipe fittings include sleeves, reducers, elbows, and tees. Tongs, saddle tees, and saddle end caps
Requirements for handling and placement of hot melt pipe fittings
. Outdoor stacking should be covered and should not be exposed to direct sunlight.
.Should be stacked on a flat ground or support.
. Non-metallic ropes or belts should be used when transporting and hoisting pipes.
.Should be handled with care, and throwing and dragging are strictly prohibited
Standard requirements for hot-melt butt joints
.The grade and level of hot-melt butt fittings should be the same as that of the pipe.
.Color has no impact on compatibility.
.Different grades and different pipes/fittings should not be connected using heat capacity.
.High-density pipes/fittings and medium-density pipes/fittings should not be hot-melt butted.
.Heating plate surface temperature: The recommended temperature for this process is ~℃. It can be adjusted appropriately according to the construction environment and materials during construction.
