Product name: Rod (polyetherimide) is an amorphous high-performance polymer that not only has high mechanical efficiency but also excellent heat resistance and chemical stability (continuous service temperature approx.) as well as high dimensional stability and creep strength. Unique torsional strength among its thermoplastics makes it an inexpensive alternative to small steel cutting parts.
Main characteristics of the rod: extremely high strength and stiffness, excellent dimensional stability, excellent chemical resistance, hydrolysis resistance, high thermal deformation resistance, and not limited by weather conditions. Inherently flame retardant and low smoke emission, physically inert (suitable for food contact). Good electrical insulation properties.
