Working Principle When the system is working normally and the pilot is in a closed state, the system pressure is transmitted to the dome air chamber at the top of the main valve disc through the inlet pressure pipe, pilot valve and air chamber pressure pipe, thus generating a pressure on the main valve disc. The net downward force keeps the main valve closed. When the system pressure reaches the set pressure, the pilot valve opens and the shuttle closes the air inlet channel of the pilot valve. The pressure in the main valve air chamber is discharged and relieved through the pilot valve. Since the system pressure is higher than the return pressure, the shuttle closes the air inlet channel. This cuts off the flow of fluid in the pilot valve. At this time, the pressure in the main valve air chamber drops sharply, the main valve disc is fully opened, and the fluid is released and depressurized through the main valve. When the system pressure drops to a certain value, the spring force of the pilot valve overcomes the force of the valve inlet pressure acting on the shuttle. The pilot valve returns to its seat, and the ejector pin pushes open the shuttle. Finally, the fluid re-enters the dome of the main valve. chamber and close the main valve.
