The freezing point process analyzer uses the principle of photometric measurement to determine the crystallinity of the sample to be measured by measuring the light scattering generated by the tiny dispersed colloids formed after cooling in the measuring cell. The degree of paraffin crystallization in the sample is related to the "cold energy" of the sample. These crystals are fine dispersed particles capable of dispersing and absorbing light or other electromagnetic radiation. The degree of scattering depends on the number of particles, the difference in refractive index between liquid and solid, and the wavelength of light. The measured freezing point temperature is the temperature at which no light scattering is detected after exceeding the set light scattering value.
