Classification of rubber fenders:

Floating rubber fenders can float freely on the water and can be divided into: inflatable rubber fenders and filled rubber fenders according to their internal buffer media.
Inflatable rubber fenders (ball-based) use air as the medium and use compressed air to absorb impact energy to make the ship more flexible and softer when docked, so as to achieve the effect of anti-collision and avoidance. Compared with the traditional spring-loaded rubber fender, it has the characteristics of large impact energy absorption, small ship reaction force, simple installation, good elasticity, no deformation under the action of compression, and more practical and economical weight.
Foam-filled fenders are also called solid polyurethane fenders. The internal buffer medium is mainly closed-cell foam materials, such as foamed polyurethane and foam rubber.
