为加锰的硅青铜。有高的强度、弹性和耐磨性，塑性好，低温下仍不见变脆；能良好地与青铜、钢和其他合金焊接，特别是钎焊性好；在大气、淡水和海水中的耐蚀性高，对于苛性钠几氯化物的作用也非常稳定；能很好地承受冷、热压力加工，不能热处理强化，通常在退火和加工硬化状态下使用，此时有高地屈服极限和弹性。
