It is a safety emergency ventilation device mainly installed on petroleum, chemical and other material storage tanks. It is usually used in conjunction with a fire-retardant breathing valve to avoid sudden overflow in the tank due to accidental reasons. When pressure or vacuum is applied, it can also play a safe fire blocking role in the event of an accident that damages the storage tank. It is currently an ideal device for protecting tank safety in China, and the product fills a domestic gap. (Generally divided into ordinary type and fire-retardant type)
Characteristics of explosion-proof and fire-retardant breathing manhole:
This series adopts an all-weather sealing structure and uses a counterweight to adjust the opening and closing of the suction valve and pressure relief cover. The stainless steel corrugated belt is used as the fire retardant layer to prevent the passage of flames, and double drawer openings are provided to facilitate cleaning and replacement of the fire retardant layer and shorten the time. In short, this product has the advantages of constant pressure discharge, constant pressure suction, flexible closing, safe fire resistance, compact structure, good sealing performance, safety and reliability.
Principle of explosion-proof and fire-retardant breathing manhole:
When the flame arrester breathing valve is working normally, the fire-retardant breathing manhole basically remains sealed and the storage tank is at normal pressure. When the normal operation of the breathing valve cannot satisfy the sudden overpressure of the storage tank due to accidental reasons, the pressure relief cover of the breathing manhole will automatically open to perform emergency pressure relief to keep the pressure in the tank normal. When the air is sucked into the tank, the suction valve opens to rapidly inhale the atmosphere to maintain normal pressure in the tank. When the inhaled atmosphere contains sparks and flames, the fire-retardant layer plays the role of "wall effect" to prevent the passage of flames and protect the safety of the storage tank.
