Therefore, when a winch-type hoist is selected for the hoisting side, the gate must be heavier, thereby increasing the capacity of the hoist and increasing the construction cost of the hoist room. If a screw-type or hydraulic hoist is used, the closing force of the hoist can be used to close the arc-shaped gate. The arc-shaped gate does not need to be weighted, and the capacity of the hoist can be selected accordingly. Characteristics of the opening and closing operation of the arc gate: The arc gate swings in a fan shape around the hinge, and the movement trajectory of the hanging point of the arc gate is an arc. Therefore, the force-applying component of the equipment used to open and close the arc gate must be able to swing up and down according to the movement of the arc gate hanging point. In this year, our institute was designing the Hengshan Reservoir. When designing the curved gate for the outlet of the spillway tunnel with a water head of 1.5 meters, a screw hoist for the curved gate with a water head of 1.5 tons was designed for the first time. The structure is shown in the figure. The arc gate screw hoist is a flat gate screw hoist mounted on a frame that can rotate in the same swing plane of the arc gate. The frame is equipped with two hinge seats that can rotate around it to adapt to opening and closing. The fan-shaped swing of the arc door uses the upper and lower movement of the screw to open and close the arc gate and drive the swing of the opening and closing frame.
