Product Introduction
This catalyst uses copper oxide and manganese dioxide as its main raw materials. It has a good catalytic effect in a dry environment (normal temperature and pressure). However, its disadvantage is that it is sensitive to water vapor. When the humidity exceeds, the catalyst will soon be poisoned and lose effectiveness, so it is more suitable for use in dry environments. For low concentration gases, the effect of this catalyst is not as significant as that of precious metal catalysts.
How to use
In rescue cabins and refuge chambers, it is generally difficult to control the humidity below the following level. Therefore, if this type of catalyst is to be used, a desiccant must be installed at the air inlet end of the catalyst agent. The air with water vapor first passes through the desiccant, so that the water vapor in it is absorbed and filtered out, and then the dry air passes through the catalyst layer, so that the gas in it is catalyzed to form. In addition, in actual use, do not use the catalyst continuously. Instead, remove the material layer after the concentration is reduced to the allowable range to prevent poisoning of the catalyst when too much water vapor passes through. Only when harmful gases need to be treated should the catalyst material layer be placed on the air purifier. In a closed space, it is easy to use electrochemical sensors to alarm. This does not mean that the limit is exceeded in the closed space. It may be that the nitrogen and oxygen mixture causes the electrochemical sensor to falsely alarm. A more accurate approach is to use an infrared sensor, and the data obtained by this device is relatively accurate.
