When used in powder coatings, post-addition is recommended to increase the chargeability of the powder coating. On porous surfaces such as cast iron, the wax powder can act as a degassing agent. It can work with benzoin in the curing system to reduce the yellowing of benzoin. The amount added is generally not exceeded.
