Pay attention when using lubricating oil
The higher the gear movement speed, the smaller the viscosity of the lubricating oil should be.
The higher the working temperature, the higher the viscosity of the oil used. In the south, it is better to choose lubricating oil with higher viscosity in summer than in winter. For example, in North China, you can generally use No. or No. 1 engine oil in winter and No. 1 or No. 1 engine oil in summer.
When selecting substitute oil, only oil with a larger viscosity can be used instead.
Pay attention to the cleanliness of the oil when using it. If the oil changes color or contains impurities such as metal, it should be replaced immediately. The oil change interval should be determined based on actual usage. The quality of the oil should be checked at least once every six months, and the aging degree of the oil can be preliminarily judged from the color of the oil. On important equipment, it is necessary to check and compare the viscosity, neutralization value, moisture and solid impurities of the oil.
In order to reduce the resistance of gear movement and the temperature rise of the oil, the depth of the gear immersed in the oil is preferably one tooth height, and the depth of the gear with high speed should be shallower, which can be around the tooth height, but at least millimeters. The low speed of /sec also allows for deeper immersion, up to a gear radius of / or even a gear radius of /sec. For bevel gear drives, the depth of the gear immersion in oil should reach the entire length of the gear.
