Expanded steel mesh refers to: a metal plate that is processed into a mesh state after being processed by a special machine (expanded steel mesh punching and shearing machine).
Materials
Low carbon steel plate, stainless steel plate, aluminum plate, copper plate, nickel plate, aluminum-magnesium alloy plate and other metal plates.
Specifications. Specifications>
Short Pitch:
The length of the short rhombus diagonal from node center to node center.
Long pitch: The length of the long rhombus diagonal from node center to node center.
Short pitch (inner hole): the diagonal length of the short rhombus hole (as shown in the picture)
Long pitch (inner hole): the diagonal length of the long rhombus hole. (As shown in the picture)
Stem: The side of the diamond-shaped hole in the expanded steel mesh (as shown in the picture). The stem width is the length of the metal plate used to make a wire stem.
Node: The connection between two silk stems.
Thickness: The thickness of the original steel plate.
Roll: A steel mesh wound into a roll indicating a specific length and width.
Mesh: Expanded steel mesh indicating the specific length and width
Weaving and characteristics
Stamped into small expanded metal mesh, expanded steel mesh and stainless steel mesh are beautiful, sturdy and durable.
Surface treatment
Dip (plastic spraying, plastic coating), hot-dip galvanizing, electro-galvanizing, anodizing (aluminum plate), anti-rust paint spraying, etc.
Anti-rust methods
1. Add some rare elements and other ingredients to ordinary steel to change the internal structure of the metal.
2. Cover the metal surface with a protective layer to isolate the surrounding corrosive media, thereby preventing the anti-corrosion effect. For example: the surface of the steel plate is coated with engine oil, petroleum jelly, paint or covered with enamel, and other corrosion-resistant non-metallic materials using electroplating, hot plating, spray plating, etc., and the surface of the steel plate is plated with a layer of zinc, chromium, nickel, etc. using chemicals. This method creates a fine and stable oxide film on the steel surface. For example, a fine black ferrous oxide film is formed on the surface of machine parts, guns and other steel plate parts.
3. Wipe metal equipment frequently or place desiccant in precision instruments and add a small amount of corrosion inhibitor to the corrosive medium that can slow down the corrosion rate.
