Polyurethane water-swellable water-stop glue is a water-swellable, single-liquid, elastic sealant. It is based on a polyurethane precursor and contains specially grafted urethane. It has a dual sealing and water-stopping mechanism of rubber's elastic water-stopping and its own volume expansion water-stopping after contact with water. It is suitable for waterproofing concrete construction joints and preventing leakage of various types of embedded components. Water-swellable water-stop glue can cure in humid environments. Curing time depends on ambient temperature and humidity. The higher the temperature or the greater the humidity, the shorter the curing time. Once the surface has hardened (dry to the touch) it is ready for the next concrete pour.
