Type
Ultrasonic Surrounding Rock Crack Detector (also known as Ultrasonic Surrounding Rock Looseness Detector), this instrument is used to detect surrounding rock looseness and crack range, providing scientific basis for the design and construction of tunnels. Can be used in gas mines, gold probes and hole sealing probes. The probe consists of a transmitting transducer and a receiving transducer connected through a slotted plastic tube. The two transducers can be used interchangeably. The measuring tube is made of copper tube. Made, each has a standard groove, a total of joints, and threaded connections. The transducer is connected to a plastic tube and needs to be wrapped with tape during tilt testing to prevent water leakage.
During ultrasonic testing, the borehole needs to be filled with water to couple the propagation of sound waves. Generally, the test boreholes should be laid out on both sides of the tunnel and drilled down slightly for 3~? to store water. This makes the test more convenient. When the borehole is tilted or upward, a hole sealer must be used to ensure that the borehole is filled with water.

Instructions for use
Check before testing
Power supply voltage: After turning on the machine, the red power indicator light will be on. Each battery pack can measure ~ 1 drill hole.
Probe insulation resistance: The positive electrode of the transducer should meet the insulation resistance, otherwise it will affect the transmitting and receiving capabilities of the instrument, or even fail to work properly. Simple identification method: Connect the two transducer wiring nuts to the transmitting terminal on the left side of the instrument respectively. After turning on the power switch, there should be a snapping sound every second. If there is no sound, it means there is a problem with the transducer. You need to check whether the wires are If there is any phenomenon such as open skin and short circuit, please replace it.
Test work
① Sweep the hole and remove rock (coal) powder and gravel (coal) ballast in the hole
② Send the probe to the bottom of the hole, insert the hole sealer into the hole and fix it Good (two gangs drill holes downward without sealing device)
③Inject water. When there is continuous water flowing out from the end of the measuring rod, it indicates that the water has been filled
④Test readings, twitch the probe outwards one after another, and time the readings
⑤Check the recorded data, decide whether to retest, and initially determine the surrounding rock Fissure loosening range.
It is a qualitative analysis of surrounding rocks in mines, tunnels and underground projects.
