The sprocket should be installed on the shaft without swinging or skewing. In the same transmission assembly, the end faces of the two sprockets should be in the same plane. However, there should be no friction on the sides of the sprocket teeth. If the two wheels are offset too much, it will easily cause the chain to break off and accelerate wear.
