Before installing the product, you should first check whether the model and specifications of the compensator are consistent with the entire piping system design requirements.
Only one bypass pressure balance compensator can be installed between the two fixed brackets.
The strength of the fixed bracket must meet the design requirements to ensure that the compensator is not damaged. The guide bracket must have sufficient guidance, otherwise it will affect the transmission of pipeline displacement.
Corrugated compensators usually do not absorb torque, so the compensator is not allowed to be subjected to torque during installation.
For compensators that need to be cold-tightened, the auxiliary components used for pre-deformation should be removed after the compensator is pre-deformed.
After the piping system is installed, the auxiliary positioning mechanism and fasteners used for installation and transportation protection on the compensator should be removed immediately, and the limit device should be adjusted to the specified position according to the design requirements so that the piping system can be maintained under environmental conditions. Fully compensated.
The neutrality of the pipeline should be good. If there is no other way to ensure it, it can be ensured by laying straight pipes, cutting equal length pipes, and then installing expansion joints.
The insulation layer should be made on the outer protective sleeve of the compensator, and chlorine-containing insulation materials must not be used.
The water used for the hydraulic pressure test must be clean and non-corrosive, and the chloride ion content in the water must not exceed the limit.
For products in the steam pipe network, drain the accumulated water in the corrugated pipes after the hydrostatic test.
During operation of a pipeline equipped with a compensator, the valve should be opened and closed gradually to avoid sudden changes in temperature and pressure in the pipeline, which may cause damage to the bracket or compensator.
Installation and installation precautions for three-way metal corrugated expansion joints
Before installation, the bellows expansion joint and foreign matter in the pipeline should be removed to ensure normal movement of the bellows. The direction of the lining tube should be consistent with the flow direction of the medium, and the expansion joint should be equipped with a flow direction mark.
The bellows used in stainless steel bellows expansion joints are formed from thin-walled stainless steel plates. Therefore, during transportation, hoisting and welding, care should be taken not to damage the bellows due to knocking, scratches, arc welding spatter, etc.
Install tie rods or limit tie rods on the expansion joint for lifting.
Precautions for installation of three-way metal corrugated compensator for pulverized coal
Metal corrugated expansion joints have been pre-stretched before leaving the factory. Pre-stretching is not necessary when installing non-metallic expansion joints.
After the metal corrugated expansion joint is installed, all fixed screw roof fans must be removed before the centrifugal fan system is operated.
In order to keep the bellows expansion joint in good working condition, the deformation of the expansion joint, including axial and transverse twisting, etc. cannot be used to correct the installation error of the pipe system position during installation.
