Before rail welding, the rail end grinder can be used to accurately grind the cross section of the rail end. This kind of grinder has good balance in all directions so it is very easy to operate. The saddle-type rail clamp secures the grinder to the rail head at the end of the rail being ground. The movement of the grinding head is controlled by a handle, and its movement range is within the cross-section perpendicular to the rail. The combined motion of the movement of the grinding head and the rotation of the grinding wheel ensures good accuracy, verticality and smoothness of the ground cross-section of the rail end.

Working principle: The internal combustion rail grinder is powered by a gasoline engine and drives the synchronous pulley through the centrifugal clutch. The power is transmitted to the main shaft through the synchronous belt to drive the grinding wheel to rotate. At the same time, the feed of the grinding wheel is adjusted through a feed handwheel. If you need to polish the rail side and arc, you can grind the rail by rotating the profiling handwheel.
