The first national food-loving and food-saving campaign jointly sponsored by the State Grain Administration, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the All-China Women's Federation, and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations was launched nationwide on Sunday.
The theme of this year’s National Food Love and Food Saving Publicity Week is to save a grain of grain and we are taking action. During the publicity week, the National Grain Administration and other sponsors organized the Save a Grain Action at the three levels of families, youths, and enterprises to enhance the public's awareness of loving food, saving food, and scientific food, and vigorously promoted the establishment of government leadership, demand traction, national participation, and social coordination. The new grain-saving and loss-reduction mechanism promoted strives to form a conservation-intensive, green and low-carbon, scientific and healthy grain circulation method and consumption model.
It is reported that the All-China Women's Federation has organized a collection activity for food-saving tips, requiring each province to collect selected tips and experiences for saving food from households that are effective, simple, easy to implement, and practical. In addition, residents, families and grain and oil experts will be organized to carry out various interactive activities on food saving and healthy communities, exchange good experiences, ideas and methods of food saving, and distribute concise and practical food saving manuals and food saving equipment to residents.
The Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the State Grain Administration, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the All-China Women's Federation will organize the selection of college student CD model models to carry out the CD model model endorsement activity for core values. The Communist Youth Leagues and Young Pioneers at all levels will also carry out essay collection activities on loving food and saving food, starting from me.
The State Grain Administration will also organize the selection of the first batch of 100 grain-saving and loss-reducing warehousing and processing demonstration enterprises, and call on the demonstration enterprises to issue a letter of commitment to love and save grain. Carry out the standard-in-enterprise action and work with local technical supervision departments to go deep into key grain processing enterprises to guide enterprises to appropriately process in accordance with national standards and standard samples, reasonably control processing accuracy, and improve product quality. Launch a collection of outstanding popular science works, articles and animations on love and food conservation.
