Self-lubricating bearings are made of special copper alloy or steel-copper alloy as the base and are processed into a tile-shaped semi-cylindrical surface. They are usually products with flange outer edges at both ends. The base body is inlaid with solid lubricant, or the oil guide groove is processed. There is also a bimetallic type with a steel plate as the base body and a sintered bronze layer on the surface. It is processed into a symmetrical semicircle by wire cutting or stamping. The outer wall is processed with positioning keys, which can be used as the contact part between the sliding bearing and the shaft. The inner wall can also be processed with oil grooves. This process breaks through the limitations of ordinary bearings relying on oil film lubrication. During use, solid lubrication and shaft friction are caused by frictional heat to form excellent conditions for coexistence of oil and powder lubrication, which can protect the shaft from wear and maintain the solid lubrication properties. It can avoid direct friction between the bearing bush and the rotating shaft due to poor lubrication when the sliding bearing is working. The rising temperature causes the sliding bearing to be damaged. This product has low linear expansion coefficient, high load-bearing capacity, high fatigue strength, good friction compatibility and corrosion resistance. It is generally installed in the internal crankcase of internal combustion engine, steam turbine, crankshaft ball mill and other parts that require high loads and cannot be refueled and maintained.
