Construction plan
①Select materials strictly in accordance with the requirements of the bidding documents. All steel products must have material quality certificates according to the requirements of the bidding documents. All steel components used in corrugated beam steel guardrails are hot-dip galvanized for metal anti-corrosion treatment. After high-strength bolts are hot-dip galvanized, butter should be applied to the connection surface of the high-strength bolts and phosphated and lubricated. They should be lubricated before leaving the factory. Sealed packaging to prevent rust or dirt during transportation and storage.
②The overall construction sequence is first single-sided guardrail, then double-sided guardrail, and finally the installation of anti-glare facilities. It adopts segmented construction, connects segment by segment, performs self-inspection by segment, and implements full-process quality control to ensure high-quality completion of the entire line.

Construction method of corrugated guardrail board
Installation of columns
Use the driving method to install the columns. When setting up columns by the driving method, the position determined by the steel drill should be strictly followed. First, a self-made guide should be placed, and then the columns should be driven along the guide holes to ensure verticality. The column should be driven into the soil to the designed depth. When it is driven too deep, part of the column must not be pulled out for correction, but all of it must be pulled out, and then driven in again after the foundation is compacted. The installation of columns should be consistent with the design drawings. And in coordination with the road alignment, the columns should be firmly buried in the soil, reach the design depth, and be perpendicular to the road surface.
If driving is difficult, drilling or excavation methods can be used to install the columns. When the drilling method is used to install the columns, the columns should be backfilled with the same material as the roadbed after positioning, and the filling should be compacted and compacted in layers so that it has a density no less than that of the adjacent undisturbed soil. When excavation is used for construction and columns are buried, the backfill should be made of the same good material and compacted in layers (the thickness of each layer should not exceed), and the compaction degree of the backfill should not be less than that of the adjacent undisturbed soil. Columns in rock should be backfilled with aggregate and compacted.
Considering the impact of the guardrail structure on the landscape and the driver's line of sight, the verticality, position, and elevation should be checked immediately after the columns are installed. Verticality is checked root by root using a ruler. Position inspection and spacing inspection: Straight lines are inspected using a steel ruler, and curved sections are inspected using the declination method and a theodolite is used to inspect the lateral position. The ruler is used to measure the lateral distance between the road centerline and the columns. For elevation inspection, use the road surface inside the curb as the benchmark, and use a self-made mold or level to check one root at a time. Its horizontal and vertical directions should form smooth lines. The installation of the gradient section and the end column is the part that requires special attention during construction. During construction, the position and height of the column should be strictly controlled, and the parabola shape should be paid attention to.
Installation of anti-blocking blocks, corrugated beams, and ends
After adjusting the columns, the bracket (anti-blocking block) can be installed. The bracket (anti-blocking block) is fixed between the corrugated beam and the column through connecting bolts. The bracket (anti-blocking block) should be adjusted to be accurately seated before tightening the connecting bolts.
The corrugated beams are spliced to each other through splicing bolts and fixed to the bracket (anti-blocking block) by connecting bolts. The overlapping direction of roadbed guardrails and corrugated beams is the key to installation. Installation must be carried out strictly in accordance with the drawings. The overlapping direction should be consistent with the driving direction. Corrugated beams should be continuously adjusted during installation. Therefore, its connecting bolts and splicing bolts should not be tightened prematurely, so that the oblong holes of the corrugated beam can be used for timely adjustment during the installation process to form a smooth linear shape and avoid local unevenness. When the linear shape of the guardrail is considered satisfactory, the bolts can be tightened finally. The connecting bolts between the bracket (anti-blocking block) and the corrugated beam should not be overtightened so that the long round holes can be used to adjust the temperature stress.
The end beams are spliced to each other with the standard guardrails through splicing bolts. The construction method of end beams is basically the same as that of corrugated beams. After the segmented construction is completed, the self-inspection shall be qualified and submitted to the supervision engineer for acceptance.
Precautions when installing corrugated guardrail panels
The columns must not be significantly twisted, must not be welded and lengthened, and the end burrs must be removed. The setting out of the columns should be based on the control points on the highway, and the distance between the columns should be adjusted appropriately according to the distance measurement. The installation of the columns should be consistent with the design drawings and coordinated with the road alignment. The columns must be firmly buried in the soil, and the depth of burial must reach the designed specified depth and perpendicular to the ground plane.
No matter which method is used to install the guardrail, the contractor should try to avoid damaging the pipeline facilities buried under the road surface. If damage is caused, the contractor should be responsible for repairing it. The contractor should bear the repair costs after the damage.
After the guardrail is installed, the horizontal and vertical directions should form a smooth line. There should be good guidance for the landscape and the driver's line of sight.
The corrugated beam guardrail installed on the roadside should not cause the guardrail surface to invade the highway building boundaries.
Corrugated beam plates should generally be formed by continuous roll forming. The bolt holes on the corrugated beam must be positioned accurately, and all spliced bolt holes at each end should be punched in one go.
From the completion of the installation of the column to the installation of the column cap, debris should be prevented from falling into the column.
The connecting bolts and splicing of corrugated beams should not be tightened prematurely.
Before tightening the connecting bolts, the bracket (anti-blocking block) should be adjusted to be accurately in place.
Welding is not allowed in the length and width directions of guardrails, ends, and columns, and there should be no cracks in the components.
