Cement sleepers have good elasticity, light weight, simple production and good insulation properties. The connection between the fasteners and the wooden sleepers is simple, and the laying, maintenance and repair, and transportation are convenient. There is a large friction coefficient between the wooden sleepers and the gravel ballast. But its disadvantage is that it has a short service life and consumes a lot of wood. In order to effectively extend the service life, sleepers must generally be oiled and anti-corrosion before use, which is what we call anti-corrosion sleepers, oil-injected sleepers, and oil-immersed sleepers.
Cement sleepers are divided into two types according to usage: ring and bolt pressure plates. The ring fastener is in the form of a steel bar nose. During installation, you only need to bend it with a hammer. It is very easy to install and use. Suitable for permanent track laying. After the temporary track is used, the steel nose (fastener) can be straightened with a pick and used for laying other lines, which is easy to be reused.
