The structure of the optical cable is to insert the optical fiber into a loose tube made of high modulus material, and the loose tube is filled with a waterproof compound. The center of the optical cable core is a metal reinforced core. For optical cables with certain core numbers, a layer of polyethylene needs to be squeezed outside the metal reinforced core. The optical cable loose tube (and filler rope) is twisted around the central strengthening core into a compact and round cable core, and the gaps in the cable core are filled with water-blocking filler. The plastic-coated aluminum strip is wrapped longitudinally and then extruded into a polyethylene sheath to form a cable. Optical cables adopt the following measures to ensure the waterproof performance of optical cables:
