(1) Flotation of disseminated copper ores
Generally, a relatively simple process is adopted. After one stage of grinding, the fineness mesh accounts for about %~%, followed by rough selection, second selection, and sweep selection. If the dispersion particle size of copper minerals is relatively fine, the staged grinding process can be considered. Most of the concentrators that handle bornite use a staged grinding process in which coarse concentrates are ground and then beneficiated, which is essentially a mixed-priority flotation process. After a period of coarse grinding, rough selection and sweeping, the coarse concentrate is then ground again and then refined to obtain high-grade copper concentrate and sulfur concentrate. (2) Flotation of dense copper ores
Due to the dense symbiosis of chalcopyrite and pyrite in dense copper ores, pyrite is often activated by secondary copper minerals, and the pyrite content is relatively high. High, difficult to suppress and difficult to sort. During the sorting process, copper concentrate and sulfur concentrate are required to be obtained at the same time. Usually the tailings after copper beneficiation are sulfur concentrates. If the gangue content in the ore exceeds %~%, it needs to be sorted again to obtain the sulfur concentrate. To process dense copper ore, two-stage grinding or stage grinding is often used, and the grinding fineness is required to be fine.
