Please use drinking water to wash away the debris in your mouth a few minutes before collecting saliva samples.
Use the tip of your tongue against the roots of the upper or lower jaw teeth to enrich the saliva and gently spit the saliva into the collection funnel until the liquid saliva (not bubbles) reaches the height of the scale.
Hold the saliva collection tube in an upright position. And use the other hand to help unscrew the red tube cap of the saliva preservation solution.
Slowly pour the saliva preservation solution into the mouth of the collection funnel and keep it upright so that the saliva preservation solution completely flows into the collection tube.
Keep the collection tube in an upright position and carefully unscrew the collection tube from the collection funnel.
Tighten the collection tube with the small red cap of the saliva preservation tube.
Turn the collection tube upside down several times to thoroughly mix the saliva and saliva preservation solution. Discard used collection funnels and saliva preservation tubes.
