Performance characteristics of manual pressure test pump

4. Structure and working principle
This series of manual pressure test pumps are composed of pump body, plunger, sealing ring, control valve, pressure gauge, water tank, etc. Their working principles are summarized respectively
When the plunger is lifted up by the handle, a vacuum is generated in the pump body. The water inlet valve opens and the clean water enters the pump body through the water inlet filter and the water inlet pipe. When the handle is pressed down, the water inlet valve closes and the water outlet valve opens to output pressure water. And enter the device under test, and work back and forth to achieve the rated pressure test.
5. Use and maintenance
Before starting to use the pressure pump, you should check in detail whether the connections of each component are tightened, whether the pressure gauge is normal, and whether the inlet and outlet pipes are installed properly. The working medium of this pump is ~ clear water, emulsion or Kinematic viscosity/oiler. It is prohibited to use unclean water containing sediment and other pollutants.
To improve the pressure test efficiency, the container or equipment to be tested can be filled with water first, and then connected to the outlet pipe of the pressure test pump.
During the pressure test, if you find that there is a lot of air in the water, you can unscrew the water valve and release the air.
If any slight water mixing is found during the pressure test, the work should be stopped immediately for inspection and repair. It is strictly forbidden to continue to increase the pressure while water is being added.
After the pressure is completed, loosen the water valve first and let the pressure drop to avoid damage to the pressure gauge.
When the pressure pump is not in use, the water in the pump should be drained and a small amount of engine oil should be sucked in to prevent corrosion.
