Check the oil level before starting each time. It is advisable to inject oil to the diameter/height of the oil gauge glass when the pump is stopped.
The pump oil is clean grade vacuum pump oil.
The pump can be started at once under atmospheric pressure or any vacuum. If it is difficult to start a single-stage pump, you can start it by removing the plug cap of the air inlet pipe and then put it into operation.
