Basic parameters
(1) Material: Reinforced nylon, with high pressure and tensile load, good toughness, high elasticity and wear resistance, flame retardant, stable performance at high and low temperatures and can be used outdoors. The amount of nylon content determines the strength and wear resistance of the drag chain as well as the noise during operation. Nylon content ranges from 5% to 17%, but cannot exceed 19%. Generally the content is around 30%.
(2) Resistance: oil-resistant, salt-resistant, and has certain acid and alkali resistance.
(3) Operating speed and maximum speed: the maximum speed can reach 5 meters/second, and the maximum acceleration can reach 5 meters/second (the specific speed and acceleration depend on the operating conditions).
(4) Operation life: Under normal overhead use, it can reach 5 million reciprocating movements (the specific life span depends on the operation conditions).
Selection principles
Inner height: Select the thickest one among the built-in cables, oil pipes, air pipes, water pipes, etc. as the reference height, plus at least 10% of the height space as the inner height of the drag chain. If overlapped, use the actual height after overlap as the reference height.
Inner width: Select some thicker cables, oil pipes, air pipes, water pipes, etc. The sum of their outer diameters is used as a reference for the inner width of the drag chain, and leave at least 10% of the width space.
Bending radius: Select the largest bending radius among the built-in cables, oil pipes, air pipes, water pipes, etc. as the reference value, and leave more than 10% of the space. The placement principle of the built-in cables, oil pipes, water pipes, and air pipes in the drag chain.
There should be 15% remaining space so that built-in cables, oil pipes, etc. can move freely without exerting any pulling force on the drag chain in the radial direction.
