Seeing this scene, he became kind-hearted and wanted to cast a spell to bring down the rain and save the people of Yangzhai.
Guanyin thought: The East Sea is deep and inexhaustible, why not use it? But the sky is high and the road is far away. What can we use to carry the water? rThinking of this, Guanshiyin leaned down and looked down. He saw that the ancient Juntai in the northeast corner of Yangzhai City was filled with smoke and flames shot into the sky. It was a kiln. I heard that a kind of precious porcelain is produced here. Wouldn’t it be good to use precious porcelain to hold water?
Guanyin Bodhisattva came to the door of a kiln and knocked on the firewood door. The person who opened the door was a girl named Caihong. Caihong recognized it as Guanyin Bodhisattva, knelt down and worshiped it, and asked Guanyin Bodhisattva to quickly save the people of Yangzhai. Guanyin Bodhisattva said: This is why I came. Get up quickly. Lend me your Jun porcelain vase. When Caihong heard this, he was very happy. He hurried back to the house and took out an exquisite Jun porcelain vase, and repeatedly said that he would give this vase to Guanyin Bodhisattva. Seeing her sincerity, Guanshiyin happily accepted the offer.
Guanyin came to the sky over the East China Sea, turned the mouth of the treasure bottle downwards, and muttered something in his mouth, and saw a stream of water rushing up and getting into the mouth of the treasure bottle. Guanyin finished sucking the water from the vase, returned to the sky above Yangzhai, turned the mouth of the vase downward and started to make rain. Every time a drop of water drips out of the vase, it turns into a downpour. The water in the vase keeps dripping, and the rain keeps falling. The crops in the field have drunk enough water, and the seedlings are growing straight up and turning green. People in Yangzhai City rushed to tell each other and thanked Guanyin Bodhisattva for sending down the nectar. The rainbow was clearly visible, and the image of Avalokitesvara holding a vase dripping water was deeply imprinted in her mind. Seeing that the rain had fallen enough, Avalokitesvara put away the vase and rode the auspicious clouds to other places to save all sentient beings.
After the rain, the weather cleared, and every household began to work as usual again. Girl Caihong was thoughtful. She made many more porcelain vases based on the original one given to Guanyin Bodhisattva and named them Guanyin Bodhisattva. She spent another ninety-nine days carefully shaping a statue of Guanyin dripping water and firing it into Jun porcelain. The strange thing is that as soon as this Guanyin statue came out of the kiln, the vase in its hand began to drip water, drop by drop, dripping continuously. People said: Guanyin Bodhisattva has appeared again! rWith the Dripping Guanyin and the Guanyin bottle in her hand, the weather in Yangdi area has been smooth, the grain is abundant, and the people live and work in peace and contentment, and live a prosperous life.
