SE153 explosive search suit

Discover EOD and Search, the body armor search suit was originally designed in the UK to work closely with police tactical units to protect search operators engaged in the search for terrorist explosive devices in public places.
The suit is used by most British police forces as well as with police and military search and rescue teams around the world. While the Pattern Search Suit does not offer the same high level of protection as an EOD suit, it provides comprehensive protection while also being comfortable to wear and allowing for virtually unrestricted movement. The outer material of the downtime search suit is made of flame-retardant and tear-resistant polyester and the inner material uses the latest aramid fiber technology. The suit contains a pocket into which an optional armor plate can be inserted for extra protection.

The Mine Clearance Suit has been designed for personnel involved in the search and clearance of mines and terrorist explosive devices. The Minesweeper's suit is modeled after the platoon bomb disposal suit, but is lighter in weight and provides full protection while being comfortable and allowing for virtually unrestricted movement.
The minesweeper kit provides a helmet, visor and two ceramic plates. Suits, helmets and ballistic protection are each rated to provide levels of protection. The Minesweeper's exterior material is made of flame retardant III, including the latest aramid aramid fiber technology.
The Minesweeper suit is modular in design and can be worn with or without sleeves crotch, pants, groin/protector or hand protector. The jacket contains a front pocket, into which a ceramic plate centimeter can be inserted.
