Check the circuit diagram and find that the accelerator pedal position sensor and the accelerator pedal position sensor share a power supply line. According to the data flow analysis, the power supply of this sensor should be normal. Because the signal voltage of the accelerator pedal position sensor is always suspected to be short circuit between the signal line and the power line provided by the engine control unit or there is a problem with the sensor itself. Check the resistance between the ground wire of the accelerator pedal position sensor and the body ground. It is abnormal.
Checking the wiring between the accelerator pedal position sensor and the engine control unit, it was found that the iron clip on the engine front trim had worn through the insulation layer of the ground wire and power wire of the accelerator pedal position sensor, causing a short circuit in the wires.
Troubleshooting
After handling the short-circuited wires and testing the car, the fault still did not disappear. After analysis, it is believed that under normal circumstances, the accelerator pedal position sensor is grounded through the engine control unit, because the power line and the ground line of the accelerator pedal position sensor are short-circuited, and the large current after the short circuit is likely to damage the interior of the engine control unit. circuit. So the engine control unit was replaced and then tested, and the fault was completely eliminated.
