The requirements for particle size of furnace-washing ore are generally around 10%. Manganese ore with too small particles or powder cannot be used for furnace cleaning. Furnace-washed manganese ore is generally water-washed manganese raw ore, with a large output. A one-meter-wide roller (trough) washing machine can produce about one hundred tons per day. Furnace washing manganese ore is widely used in northern steel plants, and the production areas are mostly Liaoning, Hunan, and Guangxi.
