The combustion speed of pulverized coal is related to the degree of mixing of pulverized coal with air, the coordination and temperature of primary and secondary air, and the level and fineness of volatile matter, ash, moisture content of pulverized coal. For example, if the coal is well mixed with air, the secondary air temperature is high, or the pulverized coal contains high volatile matter, low ash content, moisture content, and fine fineness, it can increase the burning speed and shorten the flame, otherwise the flame will grow. In actual operation, it is necessary to maintain a certain length of flame. If the flame is too short, local high temperature will be formed. If the flame is too long, the desired temperature will not be reached, which will have adverse effects on both thermal engineering and technology.
