An introduction to alloy steel is as follows. The steel plate is a heat-resistant steel with a pearlite structure. It has high thermal strength and oxidation resistance at high temperatures, and has a certain resistance to hydrogen corrosion. Because the steel contains a high content of tungsten carbide and other alloying elements, the steel has an obvious hardening tendency and poor weldability.
Weldability
In view of the working characteristics of the weldability of steel, based on past experience and referring to the welding process cards provided by foreign countries, we chose two options for welding tests.
Plan Ⅰ Welding preheating uses welding wire, welding primer, welding rod, arc welding cover surface of the welding rod, and local heat treatment after welding.
Plan Ⅱ uses welding wire, welding primer, welding rod, and the welding rod fills the arc welding cover surface, without heat treatment after welding. The chemical composition and mechanical properties of welding wires and electrodes are shown in the table.
For post-weld heat treatment, test pieces welded using Scheme I should be subjected to local high-temperature tempering treatment after welding. The heat treatment process is as follows: the heating rate is ℃/, the temperature rises to ℃ and the temperature is maintained for hours and minutes, the cooling rate is ℃/, and then it is air-cooled after cooling to ℃. Specifically, a crawler-type electric heater is used to wrap the weld seam, and a layer of aluminum silicate cotton is used to insulate the heat.
