Boiler descaling agent is a quick-acting descaling agent newly developed by the Application Department of the Institute of High Energy, Chinese Academy of Sciences. It is a national new product confirmed by the National Science and Technology Commission and has been included in the national key scientific and technological achievements plan. Its performance is better than that of the world-famous brand Bilangling Company. The agent has the advantages of high descaling efficiency, short scale dissolving time, safe use, convenient storage and transportation. Therefore, it is widely used in various pipes of boiler heat exchangers.
The appearance of this product is pink liquid. Its descaling performance is much higher than that of organic acids. It can remove carbon salts, iron oxides, silicates and other dirt. This agent is compounded with penetrant accelerators and other ingredients. It can be applied to boiler steel with a corrosion inhibition rate that is dozens to hundreds of times higher than that of hydrochloric acid descaling agents.
Principle of descaling
The aqueous solution of this product can react violently with carbonate scale to generate easily soluble and dehydrated salts and carbon dioxide. When the scale is put into the descaling agent solution, a large number of bubbles will be generated and the scale will gradually be dissolved. This agent is mainly used to clean carbonate scale and mixed scale.
Usage and dosage
The dosage of descaling agent should be determined according to the amount of scale. Generally, kilograms of chemicals are added per ton of water. Descaling methods can be soaking or forced circulation.
The temperature of the descaling liquid should be controlled at about ℃. The temperature is low and the reaction speed is slow. The cleaning time is long. Increasing the temperature will speed up the reaction speed and shorten the cleaning time. However, if the temperature is too high and exceeds ℃, the active ingredients in the descaling agent will be decomposed and the cleaning time will be lost. Therefore, it is better to control the temperature around ℃. The cleaning time is generally one hour. For boilers with thicker scale, it can be appropriately extended to one hour. After soaking, it can be heated and boiled for one hour before it can be discharged. In order to prevent boiler corrosion, trisodium phosphate aqueous solution should be added to neutralize and purify the boiler, then drain the passivation liquid and rinse with clean water.
The boiler can be put into operation or maintained ready for use.
