The basic principle of the system is to first create product data in a computer file and build it online through a computer cash register. The barcode on the product can be directly read through the optical reading device on the cash register device (or the code can be directly entered from the keyboard) and the product can be displayed immediately. Information (unit price department discounts) speeds up checkout speed and accuracy. The detailed data of each product sales (price department, time period and customer level) are automatically recorded and then sent back to the computer through the online infrastructure. Through computer calculation and processing, various sales statistical analysis information can be generated as the basis for business management.
