Looper flange is a part that connects pipes to each other and is connected to the pipe end. In pipeline engineering, flanges are mainly used for the connection of pipelines. Flanges with different pressures have different thicknesses, corresponding number of screw holes, different sizes of screw holes, and different bolts. Flanges generally refer to the standard for the number and size of bolts. When water pumps and valves are connected to pipelines, parts of these equipment are also made into corresponding flange shapes to facilitate connection, which is called flange connection. There are eye bolts on the flange to tightly connect the two flanges.
The looper flange uses flanged steel rings to set the flange on the pipe end. The flange can move on the pipe end. The steel ring or flange is the sealing surface, and the function of the flange is to compress them. It can be seen that the looper flange is not in contact with the medium due to being blocked by the steel ring or flange. Because the flange is movable and is not directly connected to the pipeline, it is called a loop flange. There is also another term called a loose flange.
