Product Principle
Based on the scope of elastic wave theory, that is, in the system composed of anchor rod, mortar and surrounding rock, acoustic stress waves are emitted from the top of the anchor rod. It propagates through the rod body and is reflected and transmitted at the interfaces between the anchor rod and the mortar, and between the mortar and the surrounding rock. In the anchor system, when the anchor, mortar and surrounding rock are poured densely, most of the energy is transmitted into the surrounding rock due to the small difference in wave impedance. Only a small part of the energy is reflected back. When the mortar is not poured densely, holes will appear in the mortar, and wave impedance interfaces of varying degrees will appear at the holes, which is manifested as the superposition of emission signals with different strengths in the original signal. According to Based on the location of the mutation point and the strength of the reflected signal, the anchoring quality of the anchor can be determined and analyzed.
