Beijing Petroleum Exchange, referred to as Beijing Petroleum Exchange, is currently the first domestic spot oil exchange to pass the review of the China Securities Regulatory Commission. On January 1, 2020, spot trading of refined oil products on the Beijing Petroleum Exchange was officially launched, marking the official operation of Beijing Petroleum Exchange, the first online trading platform in China that integrates wholesale and retail trading of refined oil products.
Beijing Oil Exchange currently implements a spot trading model. The trading hours are from Monday morning to Saturday morning, Beijing time. It implements a debt-free settlement system on the same day. After the day-end settlement, the trading profits and losses of members and customers are calculated based on the settlement price. The settlement price will be the last transaction price of the electronic contract in the last minute of the day. If there is no transaction in the last minute, the middle price of the last quoted price will be the settlement price. During trading hours, Beijing Oil Exchange continuously reports the RMB intermediate guide price of refined oil spot products based on the international crude oil market price, the oil output rate of domestic crude oil processing and the benchmark exchange rate of RMB against the U.S. dollar on the day of the People's Bank of China. The price does not include relevant taxes and fees. Resource-based members with refined oil business qualifications entrust comprehensive members to quote the buying and selling prices based on the intermediate guidance price of the Beijing Petroleum Exchange.
