Sensor Meter Detailed introduction
Detailed introduction of sensor detector
Sensor detector refers to micro-particles in the atmosphere with a diameter less than or equal to one meter. Although the content in the atmosphere is very small, it has an important impact on air quality and visibility. . Compared with larger particles, they are small in diameter, contain a large amount of toxic and harmful substances, stay in the atmosphere for a long time, and are transported over long distances, which is very harmful to human health and the quality of the atmospheric environment. A British company developed and launched a sensor detector that uses light scattering principles and particle counting technology to accurately detect the number of micro-particles in the surrounding environment, providing practical reference data for environmental improvement.
The sensor detector is a lightweight device that uses advanced optical systems and precise electronic processing devices to provide fast and accurate particle number and particle size distribution detection. It is a second-generation product upgraded on the basis of Not only includes the original digital signals, but also adds digital interfaces. The circuit structure is more optimized and the power consumption is lower.

Internal Structure And testing principle
Different from traditional optical particle counters that use air pumps and sample gas filters, a completely different approach is adopted. It uses a combination of custom-designed elliptical mirrors and a dual-element photodetector in an open The free space in the center of the scattering chamber creates a virtual sensing zone. The sensing area and its surrounding space are then illuminated by a thin strip of laser beam. Particle-laden air passes unconfined through the scattering chamber and can pass inside and outside the laser beam sensing zone, but only those particles that pass within the sensing zone are identified by the dual-element detector and counted/sized electronically.
This new design can use a miniature low-power fan instead of an air pump to generate the required particle flow through the sensing zone without the need for any form of particle filter. This avoids the need for regular air pump protection filter replacement and instead allows for long-term maintenance-free field operation.
