Introduction to the properties of EPDM particles

Because the particles are rich in color, resistant to ultraviolet light, friction-resistant, breathable and water-permeable, the Chinese name is EPDM rubber. EPDM rubber is a terpolymer of ethylene, propylene and non-conjugated diene. It was commercially produced in 2008. The annual world consumption is 10,000 tons.
The most important characteristic is its superior resistance to oxidation, ozone and erosion. Since EPDM rubber belongs to the polyolefin family, it has excellent vulcanization properties. It has the lowest specific gravity among all rubbers. It can absorb large amounts of fillers and oils with little effect on properties. Thus a cost-effective rubber compound can be produced.
Molecular structure and properties EPDM is a terpolymer of ethylene, propylene and non-conjugated diene. Dienes have a special structure, and only one of the two bonds can be copolymerized. The unsaturated double bond is mainly used as a cross-link site. The other unsaturated one will not become the main chain of the polymer, but will only become the side chain. The main polymer chains of EPDM are fully saturated. This property makes EPDM resistant to heat, light, oxygen, and especially ozone.
EPDM is essentially non-polar, resistant to polar solutions and chemicals, has low water absorption and has good insulation properties.

The steam generated by the foundation will dissipate quickly at high temperatures, and the steam pressure cannot accumulate, so bubbling will not occur. It also meets professional requirements and has good elasticity.
