One . Transportation and storage of resin:
Ion exchange resin contains a certain amount of water, and this part of water should be kept as much as possible during transportation and storage.
If the resin is dehydrated during storage, it should be soaked in concentrated salt water (-) for an hour and then gradually diluted. Do not place it directly in water to prevent the resin from rapidly expanding and breaking. During storage or transportation, resin should be kept in a temperature environment of -°C to avoid overcooling or overheating, which may affect the quality. If there is no thermal insulation equipment in winter, the resin can be stored in salt water. The temperature of the salt water can be determined according to the air temperature.
2. Pretreatment of new resin:
New resin often contains solvents, substances that have not participated in the polymerization reaction and a small amount of low polymers, and may also absorb heavy metal ions such as iron
, aluminum, and copper. When the resin comes into contact with water, acid, alkali or other solutions, the above-mentioned soluble impurities will be transferred into the solution, polluting the quality of the effluent water in the early stage of use.
