Processing method:
It can be processed by general thermoplastic processing methods, such as extrusion, injection molding, pouring, molding and transfer molding.
Extrusion of high molecular weight materials has good melt strength and can be formed into films, sheets, tubes, rods and power insulating sleeves by extrusion. Depending on the equipment used and the shape of the processed products, The temperature is controlled between ~Celsius, and the molding temperature is controlled between ~Celsius. The temperature must be strictly controlled so that the temperature cannot exceed its melting temperature for a long time. The extrusion molding equipment can be a general screw extruder.
Injection molding with low molecular weight has a high melt flow rate and can be processed by injection injection molding. Generally, a general-purpose injection molding machine is used, but the barrel plunger, nozzle, etc. must be made of corrosion-resistant base alloys.
In molding, the pellets are generally preheated in an oven or preheating furnace at a preheating temperature of ~3 degrees Celsius, and then the preheated materials are added to the preheated mold of ~3 degrees Celsius. Apply pressure and hold pressure, and the holding time depends on the time required for melting and flow. Thick-walled products must be kept under pressure and cooled to below degrees Celsius before being demoulded to avoid vacuum bubbles or deformation of the product.
Transfer molding generally uses an extruder to plasticize first, and then transports the material to a storage tank. The material in the storage tank is injected into the mold through a plunger pump, and is kept under pressure for cooling. Whether it is molding or transfer molding, it is mainly used to produce products with larger volumes and thicker walls.
Other processing methods can also use dipping, co-extrusion, conforming and other processing techniques.
