The main feature of the ball valve is that it has a compact structure, is easy to operate and maintain, and is suitable for general working media such as various corrosive media, mud, oil, liquid metal, radioactive media, solvents, acids, and natural gas. The ball valve body can be integral or combined. This type of valve should generally be installed horizontally in pipelines. Stainless steel ball valves are classified into stainless steel pneumatic ball valves, stainless steel electric ball valves, and stainless steel manual ball valves. How to use imported stainless steel ball valves
Make sure the pipeline and valve have been flushed before operation.
The operation of the valve drives the valve stem to rotate according to the input signal size of the actuator to complete the forward rotation/turn, and the valve is closed. On reverse rotation/turn, the valve opens.
When the actuator direction indicator arrow is parallel to the pipeline, the valve is in the open state. When the indicator arrow is perpendicular to the pipeline, the valve is in the closed state.
Imported stainless steel ball valve inspection and maintenance
When the ball valve is closed, there is still pressurized fluid inside the valve body. Before maintenance, relieve the pipeline pressure and put the valve in the open position, disconnect the power or air source, and perform The mechanism is separated from the bracket
The packing must be re-tightened
If there is micro-leakage at the packing culvert, the valve stem nut must be re-tightened. Be careful not to lock it too tightly. Usually, lock it again / turn ~ turn. The leakage will stop.
2. Replace the valve seat and seals
Keep the valve in a semi-open position, flush and remove any dangerous substances that may be present inside and outside the valve body, close the ball valve, remove the connecting bolts and nuts on the flanges on both sides, and then remove the connecting bolts and nuts on the flanges on both sides. The valve is completely removed from the line. Disassemble the drive device, actuator, connecting bracket, anti-loosening washer, valve stem nut, butterfly spring piece, galvan wear-resistant piece, valve stem packing, and disassemble the body cover connecting bolts and nuts in sequence, separate the valve cover from the valve body, and remove the valve cover gasket. Make sure the valve ball is in the off position, which makes it easier to remove it from the valve body, and then remove the valve seat. Gently push the valve stem downward through the middle hole of the valve body until it is completely removed, and then take out the ring and the packing under the valve stem. Note: Please operate with caution to avoid scratching the surface of the valve stem and the sealing area of the valve body stuffing box. Reassemble, clean and inspect the disassembled parts. It is strongly recommended to replace the valve seat, valve cover gasket and other seals with a spare parts package and assemble in the reverse order of disassembly. Cross-tighten the flange connection bolts with the specified torque. Use the specified torque to lock the valve stem nut and install the actuator, then input the corresponding signal to drive the valve core to rotate by rotating the valve stem, so that the valve reaches the open and closed positions. If possible, please perform a pressure seal test and performance test on the valve according to relevant standards before reinstalling the pipeline.
