The edge stress meter is a portable instrument that is improved on the basis of the method. Quantitative testing also plays a role in glass edge stress testing.
The tester has passed the national certification test and learned that the measurement unit can reach/or nanometer units that are beyond the reach of the naked eye.
Transparency testing can also be performed in the optical field, even at distances from the edge. When the tester is far away from the edge of the object, the test can only be performed when the principal stress is perpendicular or parallel to the edge of the ribbon.
For tougher glass, the test stress direction is random.
Standard simulations can be tested on thin plates up to thickness.
