Working Principle
When the pipeline supplies water from the water inlet end, the water flows through the needle valve and enters the main valve control room. The outlet pressure acts on the pilot valve through the conduit. At this time, the pressure in the main valve control room increases and the main valve closes, and the outlet pressure no longer increases.
When the outlet pressure drops to the pilot valve set pressure, the pilot valve opens and the control chamber drains water downstream. Since the drainage volume of the pilot valve is greater than the water inlet volume of the needle valve, the pressure in the main valve control chamber drops, and the inlet pressure causes the main valve to open. Under steady state, the water inlet and drainage of the control room are the same, the opening remains unchanged, and the outlet pressure remains unchanged. Adjust the pilot valve spring to set the outlet pressure.
