PI板应用特性
(1)阻燃性：PI为自身阻燃的聚合物，高温下不燃烧。
(2)机械性能（对温度的敏感性小）：
1纯PI机械性能不高,尤其冲击强度比较低；
2纤维增强后会大幅度提高：
冲击强度：由27J/m增大到190J/m，增大10倍以上；
拉伸强度：由60Mpa增大到1200Mpa,增大20倍以上；
弯曲模量：由3.8Gpa增大到80Gpa，增大20倍以上；
3高抗蠕变；
4低热膨胀系数、高尺寸稳定；
5耐磨性（VS45#钢）：1000转时的磨耗量仅为0.04g（可填充F4、二硫化钼后进一步改善）；
6具自润性。
（3）优异的热性能：
1耐高温、耐低温同时具备；
2长期使用温度：-200～300℃（代）～371℃（第二代）～426℃（第三代）；
3耐辐射
（4）突出的电性能：
1介电常数：通过设计可以降至2.4以下（超耐高温塑料中综合性能优良的超低介电常数材料）。
2介质损耗因数：10～10；
3耐电弧性：128s～180s；
4高电绝缘；
PI板应用领域：作为一种性能突出的尖端材料，在机械、电子电气、仪表、石油化工、计量等领域应用迅速增长，已成为全球火箭、宇航等尖端科技领域不可缺少的材料之一。
