The main welding process and principle of flash butt welding
The electrode tightens the workpiece, and the flash starts when the workpiece is not in complete contact.
Down, the workpiece clamped by the welding electrode slowly approaches. As the current density increases, the contact between the workpieces begins to melt, and at the same time, part of the molten metal overflows, forming an initial butt welding node.
The welding area becomes hotter and hotter, and the speed of butt welding also accelerates.
Light and spatter completely weld the two contact surfaces together.
Later, high pressure is used for upsetting, the current is cut off, and the welding is completed.
