If the test results are qualified, a certificate will be issued based on the final invoice for the goods provided by the importer (for air transport, Allows the issuance of certificates based on proforma invoices).

The exporter applies to the registration, licensing/certification center and submits a self-declaration that the product complies with Kenyan standards/technical specifications or international standards, as well as a product test report issued by a laboratory accredited in accordance with the standards/standards. The Registration, Licensing/Certification Center reviews the documents submitted by the exporter and will require rectification if any problems are found. After confirming that the product meets the requirements, the center will issue a product registration certificate.
When shipping, the exporter should submit a copy of the product registration certificate, certification application and proforma invoice of the goods to the office. The office also has to inspect the goods, but only samples test individual batches. The exporter also needs to provide the final invoice for the goods, and the office will issue a certificate after reviewing various documents.
The product registration certificate is valid for one year, and the product must continue to meet the registration requirements. If the product is modified, the product registration certificate must also be modified accordingly.
Method) Product Approval
If the product quality is stable after registration and continues to meet the compliance requirements for a long period of time, you can apply for a license from the Registration, Licensing/Certification Center. The center will review the test report of the product and conduct supplementary testing if necessary. In addition, the factory's production facilities will also be inspected. After reviewing each of the above steps, the manufacturer will obtain a license for this type of product. In the future, when products are exported,
manufacturers only need to provide certification applications, final commercial invoices and copies of licenses, and the office can issue certificates without the need for each inspection and product testing.
